Website Information
CentexFootball.com
began in 1998 as the brainchild of two Central Texas
high school students, Henry Witt III and Dustin Hicks.
They envisioned a website that would allow fans of Texas
high school football from far reaches to congregate in
one place on the web to share their passion for football
in Central Texas. In their high school library with help from a
local grant, Witt and Hicks created a simple text
website with a bulletin bulletin board they called CentexFootball.com.
Nine years later after several site enhancements and
additions, it has grown into one of the most trusted
sources for Texas high school football on the web or
otherwise. Today, CentexFootball.com is frequented by hundreds of
thousands of people every year, surpassing any
expectation the site's creators ever imagined.
With over
11,000 registered
members, CentexFootball.com generates over
250,000 page views
per month and
welcomes over 20,000 visitors per month during the
football season, according to site statistics obtained
from one of the web's most trusted internet statistic sources,
Google Analytics.
